Well, we did leave…
And then the engine caught fire.
Yes that was a while ago, but now I'm looking at other options and directions to go. The focus is still music, as it ever will be. However I'm having to try to figure out if the RV is even fixable, while simultaneously working to reconnect to the music in the special way I want to.
See when this caught fire it about broke my spirit. I burned with it.
But then I reached out for help and the response was immense among my friends and community.
Thank you all! That was, and is, one of the most amazingly supportive moments of my career.
Since then, I've been waiting for the mechanic to be available to look at it and see if it's salvageable. His schedule has been pretty full so it's a matter of patience.
In the meantime I've been working on new songs and song concepts, practicing singing techniques, and so much more.
There is also a spoon deficit that I'm struggling with so updates are slower than my usual on even the most common platforms I usually engage with. Thank you awesome peeps for your patience as I try to find a way to organize all the chaos that seems to find its way to my world in such quick succession.
It's a wylde ride, but it will only get better from here.
